July Birthday Cake
Made this cake on the quick. It is an apple sauce spice cake with a spiced cream cheese filling and iced with a spiced b/c. The decorations are all fondant painted with gold and blue luster dust. I used real vanilla and fresh spices in the filling and icing. It is hard to tell in the pic, but the spices and vanilla gave the icing a real pretty antique look.

These are fondant puppies and misc items that I will be using to decorate a cake. It is a birthday cake for a dog groomer. The puppies will be placed in what looks like a wooden wash tub that will then be placed on a 1/2 sheet cake. This is the first time that I am attemping the wash tub. Thanks to all the CC'rs who posted their pic's of wash tub cakes for inspiration. Now I just need to keep my fingers crossed as I assemble this thing. LOL

First Fondant Bow Cake
Another cake made for a local dart teams monthly birthday celebration. tuff go making the bow for the first time, but I am pretty happy with it. Glueing it together with chocolate melts is the way to go. Thanks for all the tips here. Special thanks to DianeLM for her forum post on making these bows.

Golf Cupcakes
These were easy and fun to make. I had a good laugh at the party though, the lady that was serving the cupcakes was taking out the golf tees, she was afraid some one would try to eat them. I had to explain to her that they were made of fondant and were edible. Made me feel good though that she thought they were real.

80Th Birthday Car Cake
this cake was made for an 80th birthday. A yellow cadilac is his current project car, so his wife wanted to make this the theme for his birthday cake. Yes, this man really wears pink, in fact this is one of his favorite outfits, white suspenders and all. He is the only man I know who can pull it off.

This cake was requested by a friend for her husbands 80th birthday. This was the first time that I had worked with fondant and the second cake I ever decorated. I could not have done it without cake central and all of its fine members. The info and pics available here are priceless. So thanks to all the members who share.
