I made this for my sister's baby shower. It was my 3rd cake. It was white cake with strawberry filling and white fondant. I made a big red bow, flowers, and a dragonfly since she loves dragonflies. I wrote with edible markers for the vines and the message since she didn't have a name picked out yet. Check out the pea pod cupcakes.
This was the 2nd cake I made for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She loves Dora and wanted a Princess Dora Cake. I used a dora figurine toy and used colored fondant to shape her long hair.
This was the first cake I've made. It was for a couple's 50th anniversary. This cake was huge. It was about 14 x24x6. I didn't have a heart shaped pan, so I improvised. One heart was white cake, the other yellow, with buttercream icing. I used gold pearls and ribbon. I made my kids birthday cakes in the past to save money, but was elected to do this one. I haven't had any training or classes but would like to. I enjoy cake decorating very much.
