Eyeballs
Here are some Practice Halloween Cupcakes that I made. I have to make a big batch for my hubby's pot luck and I wanted to practice them before the pot luck day. The eyeballs are gummies I bought at Wal*Mart from the Halloween candy isle. The cupcakes are vanilla chocolate chip with butter cream icing. I'm not sure if I made brains or intestines. What do they look like to you? TFL!

Pregnant Cupcakes
Here is a practice pregnant cupcake (to replicate a full size cake I'm making). I thought it was so cute. I gave it to my pregnant neighbor who's going to have her baby on Friday. It's 2 mini cupcakes for breast and an average size cupcake for the belly, iced in butter cream and covered in a small piece of fondant.

Popcorn & Movie Birthday
My twins were turning 5 and the theme was a movie theater. So, I made popcorn cupcakes & a movie reel. Popcorn are mini marshmallow sprayed with yellow color mist. The red/white strips are Christmas wrapping paper. I used Wilton's King size baking paper, put a cupcake in it, taped wrapping paper around it and Viola--individual popcorn for everyone.

Butterfly Cupcakes
These are cupcakes I did for my little cousin's 6th birthday. She love butterflies and I incorporated her favorite 3 colors (pink, purple & green). They are strawberry cupcakes with buttercream icing. Very yummy. The butterflies are made from chocolate. There are no antenna's b/c they melted (it was hot at the party).

Father's Day Cupcake Bouquet
After looking on this site for how to create my 1st cupcake bouquet, I decided to make my husband a basket full of roses. So, here is a "manly" version of the many beautiful rose bouquets that I've seen on CC. The rose may look smashed because I hit them while trying to put the cupcakes on the tooth pick inside the green Styrofoam spheres. TFL!

Easter Basket Cake
Here is my first Easter basket cake & my first time doing the basket weave technique. It's a butter recipe with butter cream icing. My mother, husband, 3 children, grandmother, great aunt, 2 cousins & I enjoyed this cake as we celebrated our lord & savior's resurrection. My children painted the chocolate molds where the plastic eggs sits.

Little Mermaid
Here is my daughter's 6th birthday cake. It was a rush job, seriously. My husband & I had just got back from driving 10 hrs and as soon as I got home I made this cake. I baked the cakes before we went out of town and just tinted the fondant, made the chocolate molds and decorated the cakes when I got home. I'm getting the hang of baking cakes. Tell me what you think.

3D Spiderman Bust
My husband & I made the Spiderman cake (he decorated it). We put a lot of hard work, love and team effort in making our kids happy. The cake is a butter cake w/homemade butter cream icing, covered in fondant. The cake just melts in your mouth. This is my first time working w/fondant. But we had a good time making the cake.

Father's Day Cake
A close up view of my grill cake that I made for my hubby. It's not the best looking, but I'm very proud of my cake. It's made with LOTS OF LOVE. I'm an Amateur so keep that in mind. It's a butter recipe cake with BC frosting (which didn't smooth out when I tried. Any advice?) Hot dogs and hamburger is made from tinted candy clay. Grill rack was made from Chocolate.

Castle Cake-Front View
Here is a 2nd pic. I decided to make her cake with basic ingredients such as regular cake icing so the cake will not have a smooth texture. But all-in-all I LOVED my first cake. My daughter loved it and so did everyone else. And it tasted great too. My daughter wanted a castle cake and we looked through her children's books and seen 1 & tried to imitate it. I REALLY wished I would have known about cake central when I 1st started making her cake. But I still had a good time making it.
