This hand painted cake was done for the 1st anniversary of a couple who were serving in Iraq and were married in via e-mail. They did not have a wedding cake so the bride asked me to make this for them now that they are both home. It was my first time doing a hand painted cake, I think it turned out good!
Pig is covered in buttercream, the ears, tail and napkin are fondant. I air brushed him and on the knife and fork I used silver dust.
This cake was a blast to make but a pain to put together. But I think it was well worth the stress :)
The deer is covered in buttercream, the antlers are made of wire and covered with buttercream. I air brushed him and used decorating jelly for the eyes.
This was a sweet 16 cake. The top and all the makeup are made of fondant and painted. The bottom box is the cake.
