Small Cupcake Bouquet
Okay, here's my cupcake bouquet (you know you all want to try one, thanks cambo!) and I used the method that 2yummy posted the link to. Excellent! And so easy! They looked great. Banana cupcakes with WBH buttercream. My first try at WBH house buttercream, and I wasn't sure if I liked it at first. . But I added a little creme bouquet, and it tasted great on the cupcakes! Better on cake than when tasted alone. I gave this to my friend who's MIL just passed away.

Top View Of Michaels' Bin Cake
Here's the top view of my bin cake. Cake is WASC, iced in a blend of Duff's and whipping cream buttercream, filled with raspberry buttercream, broom and dustpan are gumpaste, wheels and bin grids are chocolate fondant, and the apron (which I was really pleased with) is white chocolate fondant. A goodbye cake for our manager at Michaels.

A Michaels' Bin Cake
I made this cake for our store manager, who was leaving us. He is well known for his habit of putting everything in bins and also for his habit of breaking a lot of glass (and other things) so I tried to make a cake that would represent his character. His reaction when he saw it was priceless. It is WASC with raspberry buttercream filling, iced in a mixture of Duff's and whipping cream buttercream. Broom and dustpan are gumpaste, broken "glass" is coarse sugar, wheels and bin grates are chocolate fondant.

Flower Cupcakes
I did my first Wilton demo at the Wedding Event at my Michaels last weekend and I made a cake and these cupcakes. I was inspired by several pictures I found in the gallery and I think they turned out very nice. Lots of people liked the idea of using something like these as table centerpieces! Chocolate cupcakes decorated with buttercream.

First Demo Cake
I had my first demo as a Wilton instructor at the Michaels where I work last Sunday and this is the cake I decorated. It's a white cake with oreo filling, covered in buttercream. The flowers are royal icing. It was a wedding event, so I thought this cake would make a nice shower cake, spring cake, or Mother's Day cake. Even just a birthday cake.

St. Patrick's Day Cheer
St. Patrick's Day cake. Marble cake filled with ganache, iced with my first try at IMBC. Colours are not exactly what I wanted, I must investigate differences in tinting IMBC vs. regular buttercream. No matter, my co-workers will devour it anyway, and the IMBC tastes fabulous!

Wilton Course 3, Finale Cake
This is my grand finale cake from course 3. It's all real cake, covered with MMF, and I decided to use poinsettias instead of roses, since I was going to a Christmas party the day after my class. Everyone thought it was just a decoration - they were quite happy to eat it, though!
