Yaritza's Quinceanero
Quinceanero cake done for a friend's daughter who is truly a miracle and just turned 15. She was born with Down's Syndrome and a problem with her heart . She brings joy to all who know her and had a wonderful time at her quinceanero, dancing, and having fun with friends and family. Oh yes, and thanks to Angelys of cakecentral because she was the inspiration for this cake. Yari's mom loved the cake by Angelys and that's the one she chose.

Maria's Grad Cake / Off To Costa Rica
My friend's daughter had just graduated from the university and was also going away for one year to Costa Rica to teach. She wanted something tropical...(Oh how I wish I were there!) This was the first time that I made scenery in buttercream frosting--it was a lot of fun, and she loved it.

Jailiene's First Communion
First of all, thank you to "sweet_as_tisse" for posting her beautiful communion cake that I used for inspiration. Jailiene's mom fell in love with that cake and I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to even come close. This was my first experience using fondant for flowers, butterfly, bow, and the round plaque with writing on top of the cake. The cake was butter cake with strawberry filling and buttercream icing. The cross is a wall plaque that she could keep for a keepsake--it was my gift to her.
