This is my hubs birthday cake
the only problam i had was trying to make it look like a midnight blue. does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish that color
this was done for my nephews girlfriends bday. she loves nightmare before christmas. the cake is all chocolate fudge the head is covered in all fondant. the base is done in all buttercream.
i forgot a couple of things on the cake so here is the finished cake. i put the writing and the vines. royal icing.
this is all carrot cake with cream cheese frosting covered in fondant. the decorations are made from fondant and then covered in luster dust. got this idea from Nikki and i just want to say thank you for letting me replicate it . and as normal i am setting thinking omg is looks crooked or maybe i should have done that or this LOL.... but i love it.

this is my first order. its a belly cake. the base cake is double fudge with a banana split filling. with blue buttercream and buttercream shell border "my first time ever doing a shell border". the belly and boobs are also double fudge cake. I did simple fondant roses around the chest area. I actually was really proud of myself with this cake. I had so much fun making it and my client really loved it. :)
Okay here is my first time ever baby belly cake. It was really fun to do and i plan on making it again for an baby shower that i was asked to do. The base cake is a double fudge chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling covered in BC. The belly and boobs are a French vanilla cake decorated in Fondant. I am actually pleased the way this practice cake turned out. My dad sure enjoyed. Hes a cake fanatic lol. I didn't really get to decorative with this cake simply because it was a practice.
Ok this is my grape cake i decided to do since i still had all the stuff from my wilton class last year. this cake turned out all wrong. I got crumbs in the frosting, i couldn't get it smooth, one of my vines is way to big and Last but not least i think my green icing is way to thin cause i couldn't get a decent leaf to form. plus i think there was a clog in the tip.. ugg my husband said it looked great but i think it could have been better.. any suggestions.
