Angela's Bridal Shower
I was going through the door to put the, nearly finished, cake back in fridge, when my elbow hit the door frame. I grab the top tier with both hands, and brought my knee up to brace the bottom. (BAD MOVE!) My knee impacted the board so hard ? if it was a soccer ball it would have gone clear up in the air 30 feet! On the side I impacted ? the bottom tier buckled, bad! After trying several things to hid the buckle, this was the best option. They loved it, I was sad, because it was perfect prior to the "incident"! The top tier is chocolate with ganache, the bottom it WASC with strawberry buttercream. The umbrella is white chocolate.

Mark's 5Th Birthday Cake
My daughter's nephew turned 5 and wanted a Sponge Bob cake. The cake stood 26" tall - without his party hat. It was a white chocolate cake with a whopped ganache filling. The only challenge was getting the cake up my very bumpy driveway, but my wonderful husband built an ingenious, external support system to get it there safely! http://paintedacrescakes.blogspot.com/2011/02/building-sponge-bob.html The instructions for building him.
