All BC, transfer also...had problems with dying which messed up the writing and I had to free hand it. Which is bad...lol
I tried to do Tangles, what I did wrong was I had a solid pink background cake...bad choice...then I tried to use Cooper for the skin...she came out tanned. lol BC, outlined in BC, and then hand painted in gel with colors. Not finshed, I still need borders and a name on it. But Im done for tonight.

Mod Monkey made for Grandson, added the bananas cake on the side, and his monkey was his smash cake. Boy did he smash it! Butter cream is Indys recipe, plus changed up the liquid to creamer since we live in Texas, so it didnt spoil in the heat, crust awesome!

BC Sponge Bob cake, my first...I didnt think I could freehand him, as my hands shake alot, but I did ok, should have used pink for the internal mouth. Had a hard time with Arms also. Used Strawberry short cake rolls for legs and shoes.
The bday girl wanted Neon colors and her animal prints. BC, airbrushing, Square cakes, front cake is her wild cake, Splatter BC colors, she took it home. And of course, they are not leveled!!! LOOK CLOSELY, you can see it.
BC, Cross/hands, for a family reunion for my daughter in laws side of the family. I couldnt write for nothing but then again, this cake didnt cooperate at all!!! I had so many problems making this one, I think I was tired. So the Writing is crooked and shaky, and the BC is not smooth either
BC, Hot pink Zebra. Spice cake. Wanted to do something alittle different didnt work out like I planned...top should have had a cameo appearance, I guess I needed to get it more in there. For a 10yr olds bday. Lady asked at "last minute" for it!!! Org. wanted a 2 tier cake, I told her not with her calling yesterday at noon. I couldnt write for nothing today either!
BC, Zebra, Cheetah Birthday cake. Not the Org. cake I was going to make, I wanted a tapered, but had some family issues that took me away from my grand babies cake. This cake got hit and bumped so many times on the way to the park!!! and the WIND!!!, Had to fight the wind the table cloth kept hitting the cake, things flying, NOT A GOOD DAY CAKE WISE!!! Once there I managed to save it and alittle boy we noticed was at the table picking at the cake!!! I hated it, my daughter loved it, and the ppl at the party raved over it...lol go figure! Justine B. Cake, did the transfer and I live in Texas, had alot of problems with the transfer not drying in the refrigerator over night and even the freezer for an hr. If you notice to the left of the face, which is his right there is a color difference, thats where I had to try and fix it, BC was a tad off in color but turned out it looked like a shadow on his face, which was not bad. HIs lips were too red for me also. Grand daughter loved it anyway, thank god! She wanted Yellow, Purple, and Pink
Made out of BC, also transfer is bc that I made a few hrs before, kind of made up the designs on the sides of the wording, I dont know much about this Bakugan thing, and then I added the edges.
Ok, I tried doing a 3D cake, and failed...my Large bear looked wonderful , every dent was in it, I took the 2nd half off and it still looked good, it wasnt until I move it and it broke into 3 pieces ...I stayed up til 4am and STILL NO CAKE DONE!!! I opted for doing the smaller bear but I was tired, and I couldnt get his face right, the woman loved it..
Used a papertowel and tore one side to make jagged edges, then moved it along the cake to make the clouds with my Airbrush. Mirrored McQueen, and then Bc to make my image, didnt come out as good as I wanted it to. Its not smooth, and some red bled into the windshield white part. Needless to say I didnt like it. The Border ontop of the cake, is suppose to look like Ribbons or streamers for racing in yellow that is why they are not uniformed, wanted to give it the blown look. AND...You Cant see the HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Tomm. I might try and bring that out to show more. OK, ADDED SOME RED TO THE WRITING
First time doing this, 10" pan, cake was a nice size, I think I need to carved it more to give the shape of a doctors bag, but I got scared Id ruin it. Airbrushed it, lines in cake were to give it wrinkle look, used alittle yellow to bring it rustic, didnt work much. Fondant handle also airbrushed. DH says, "How is he gonna get into it?" ...I said dahhhh, slice it!...DH said no, there NO ZIPPER on it!!!! OMG!!! Oh well first time making this lesson learned. The Doctor loved it!
BC birthday cake, in theme of racing. EVERYTHING that you can think of went wrong with this cake! First this is not the cake I was planning on. I had worked on an Image in Deco, and it was nice!!!, so I went to use my printer, and I was out of EDIBLE INKS!!! and cake was due in 2hrs, I live out in the country so to speak. So then I thought ok, BC transfer, nope that didnt work, ok, last minute doctor this up, and my Airbrush system wasnt working!!! so 30mins before it was due, this is all I came up with to deliver it, looks like a darn Wally World cake! Im so disappointed, and even then it didnt come out good. The customer, Bless he heart, thought it was the best cake ever!!! and kept telling everyone: Look at Ken's cake, its awesome!!!
Done for a friends daug. In some of the pics, I had not finished the main cake, I was still working on it. Thought I'd take a pic. before I forgot like always. Do you know that since Im new to this, I DO NOT own cake stands, Im using under the main cake, a Cer. crock pot turned upside down, put a board over that and covered it with lace, for the others I just just old vases and glasses I had bought at the resale shop for 40 cents.
