The lily pad is chocolate cake covered in vanilla buttercream. The frog is vanilla cake covered in vanilla buttercream. I used a wilton bear pan to make the frog. The bear ears are now frog eyes. The gold ball is just fondant painted with luster dust.
this is my 2nd attempt at a castle. the cake is vanilla with buttercream icing. i covered ice cream cones with fondant and painted with luster dust to create the spires.
Gerber Daisy Wedding
Each tier is a different flavor. I decorated using vanilla swiss meringue buttercream and added purple ribbon with fresh gerber daisies.
The cake is white chocolate pound cake with strawberry filling and covered in vanilla fondant. I accented the cake with buttercream swirls and added fresh hydrangeas (sp?).
The cake is chocolate kahlua with chocolate almond buttercream filling. I used chocolate swiss meringue buttercream to cover. Decorations are vanilla buttercream. I was given an invitation to copy.

On The Beach With Elvis
I made this cake for a client's 50th birthday party. He loves the beach, music and Elvis. The cake is white chocolate with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream. The sand is crushed graham crackers and the figures are fondant. I made the seashells using a mold and melted candy disks.
Bugs And Bees
I made this cake for a silent auction at a fundraising ball for a children's museum. They asked local bakers to contribute a cake. The cake is chocolate with a chocolate almond swiss meringue buttercream filling. I then covered the cake in chocolate fondant. The insects and flowers are gumpaste. The bumble bees are my favorite! I accented with buttercream grass and royal icing dots.
