Red Christmas Cake With White Poinsettia
Rich chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling, frosted with chocolate BC & covered with chocolate flavored red Satin Ice. Poinsettia is sugar paste dusted with pearl luster dust & gold on the edges. This was a small cake 7" round. Nothing special it was just for us.

Helicopter Pilot's Birthday Cake
Cake is 13X9 double layer yellow cake flavored with orange extract. Strawberry filling & Grand Marnier BC(seems to be a favorite at the moment). Helicopter is totally made of sugar paste/gum paste. All other accents are fondant flavored with orange extract. The birthday boy is a helicoper pilot for a company here in Kauai. I found the Helicopter quite hard to make, but have a better idea of what to do next time (if there is a next time ).

Mahalo Hawaiian Airlines Cake
My son travels inter-island every week as he also has a shop in Maui, Hawaiian Airlines are always fantastic & so helpful, he wanted to say Mahalo(thank you) to them. Devil's Food cake, raspberry filling, Chocolate BC. Logo & all decorations are gum paste/sugar paste. I think the logo turned out quite well. TFL

Peach Roses & Hypericum Berries
This was an unexpected birthday cake I made for last Saturday, fortunately I had the spray of gumpaste roses & berries in my emergency stash. The cake is WADC recipe, 3 layers, left out the almond extract & added Hazlenut creamer, filled with raspberry filling & frosted with white BC tinted peach.

Cornucopia Thanksgiving Cake
Lemon cake with whipped chocolate ganache/buttercream filling & frosting. covered in Satin Ice tinted pale orange. Flowers & leaves are gum paste dusted with chalk & luster dust. cornucopia is made from fondant, colored brown & dusted with bronze luster dust. I was not happy with the look of the actual cake, but this is my first cake since coming to live in Hawaii. I am struggling with the climate. It had a few bumps & dents.
