9# scalloped oval vanilla cake with mint chocolate truffle filling & frosted with Creme Bouquet BC, Swan, waterlilies & lily pads are made of cold porcelain (wonderful to work with) all other accents including the plaque are Fondx with Tylose added. Rocks are chocolate. This is for a lady who is going to be 84 years young.

Funny Kangaroo has hit the golf ball (in Australia )& is looking for it in the sky, the Hawaiian Hula girl has already caught it in her hand (on the island of Kauai, Hawaii). The Australians were so much fun, wonderful people, we all enjoyed having them here.
This was a rush order for a cutomer in Maui. It is a 16" sqare Devil's Food cake with a raspberry & Chambord filling, covered with chocolate BC. Customer requested sea shells, but wanted chocolate BC so I just did pretty shells etc, couldn't put sand on the cake either as by the time it had travelled to Maui, that would have been everywhere. Well she got her sea shells. Cake was for a big party celebrating 1 lady & 4 men's birthdays. TFL
7 X7" square, Passion fruit BC filling, also iced in passion fruit BC. Ordered for a lady who is moving to the mainland. Cake is yellow cake. Her friends were having a fareell dinner for her. I used the funky letters for the first time.

This is an 8" peach flavored cake with peach BC covered in peach colored chocolate fondant. It is a very simple design I used a patchwork cutter for the swan & just highlighted parts of it with Antique white Luster dust. I imprinted one of my lace cutters around the edge. I just felt like making a cake for the family.
Michelle (superstar2) & I made this cake for my grandson last year. It was our first attempt at figures. Cake was iced in BC. all decorations are sugarpaste. Ian was brought up in Hawaii & loves to surf. He now lives in California.
This was another last minute order, story of my life at the moment. It is a Pina Colada Cake with pineapple & rum filling, Pina Colada BC & covered with Jennifer Dontz's wonderful chocolate fondant tinted pale lemon. Jen that fondant is fabulous & it worked well with the Fondx. The flowers are sugar paste & the other decorations are chocolate fondant.

Last minute cake ordered for her husband who loves his golf (I think every man I know in Hawaii loves golf!) 9" round with fondant golf bag, very quick & easy to do. Of course being in Hawaii it had to have some flowers too. Choc cake with raspberry filling & choc BC.
Everything is made of sugarpaste, the dog's name is Jazz, she is a silky & the cutest little thing. I had a picture of her & decided to try & make her, it wasn't so easy but I am quite pleased with the outcome. She belongs to dear friends of mine, so I put her on a pillow with her favorite ball & will give it to my friends.

This cake was ordered for a chocolate lover's birthday. Chocolate cake, Choc. mousse filling, Dark choc BC & white choc roses with chocolate leaves done by painting the melted chocolate on fresh hibiscus leaves, pop in the fridge for a few minutes & remove the cocolate. Piping etc done with Milk chocolate BC. I think they got all the chocolate they wanted!!!!
10 inch cake with blueberry filling & peach flavored BC. All decorations are sugarpaste. This was another last minute order, 2 day's notice. I'm getting used to it now, it seems to be happening to me all the time. I had to make it look feminine as well, there are two lady builders involved. Hope the customer likes it.
First of all thanks to Socal for her wonderful tutorial on making the shoes. All decorations are made of sugar paste, the shoe box was RKT's covered in sugar paste & glazed with confectioners glaze. Cake was yellow cake with Banana Mousse filling & covered with Wedding Bouquet flavored BC. I had made the decorations a few weeks ago, cake was on hold due to a death in the family, then I was told on Sunday evening that they would like the cake for Monday. I hate rushing.
This customer wanted a cake that represented going on a cruise to Alaska, Memorial day & birthdays for some of her guests. It was a challenge to put all this on without looking to cluttered. She loved the cake so that's all that count. The cruise ship, sea & fish are gumpaste. (ship made of RK treats), one side had balloons & the other stars. Cake was white cake flavored with fruit juice & orange extract. Frosting was peach flavored BC. Palm trees & other items made of flavored fondant. 13 X 9 size cake.

This was a last minute cake, luckily I had some left over frosting from a cake I did last week saved in the freezer & a few Plumeria & leaves that I had made some time ago & saved in a container, so I was able to get something done, there wasn't time to smooth the BC, I just combed it. Oh well at least she got a cake. TFL

Butter Pecan with chopped apricots (recipe from here), with passionfruit Bc filling & frosting, covered with Fondx. All decorations are gum paste/sugarpaste. This cake did not photograph well. I got to have a slice & it was very yummy.
