40Th Birthday
This cake was done for a 40th birhtday celebration. The two pink tiers were done in buttercream with fondant accents. The middle white tier was done in all buttercream. The damask was done using a cake stencil. First time to use a stencil...I loved it. The 40 was done in gumpaste with black disco dust.

Sesame Steet First Birthday
I did this cake for my nephews first birthday. The cake is done in buttercream with fondant accents. All the characters and street sign were cut out of fondant. I made a smash cake of Elmo's face to match. I was inspired for this cake by one I recently saw on here by kawaiicakecook.

Count Von Count
This is the cake I did for my son's 4th birthday. He LOVES Count von Count from sesame street. This is a very editted down verson of the cake I was going to do, but he loved in none the less. The cake is done in buttercream with fondant accents. The image of Count on top is done in fondant. The bats are rings that I had a ton of and was trying to use up. The small one tiered cake was the cake I made for him for school.

Batman
Cake done in buttercream with fondant accents. This cake ended in disaster for me. The top two tiers fell off into the floor of my car while delivering it. I didn't get a picture of it, but the final product would of had batman on top, but ironically I didn't want it to fall of during delivery.

Loving To Give Not To Get
This is the wedding cake I did for my DH cousin's wedding. The wedding was in Austin, so I took the cakes baked and crumb coated and decorated them in our hotel room. The cake is done in buttercream and the lettering was done in fondant. I had my issues with my buttercream with this cake, but in the end it didn't turn out too bad. All of the words/sayings were special to the bride and groom.

Winter Wonderland
This is the cake I entered in the special occasion/one tier cakes in the Capital Confectioners That Takes the Cake show in Austin. The cake is done in fondant. The trees and hills on the side are done in fondant. The characters were cut by hand out of gumpaste. The wind swirls were hand painted with luster dust and highlighted with light blue air brushing. The loop bow was done out of gumpaste and accented with polka dots cover with white sanding sugar. I place first for this cake.

About A Boy
This is the novelty tiered cake I ented in the Capital Confectioners That Takes the Cake show in Austin. The patterns and colors were inspired by a series of scrapbook paper. The box tops and loop bow were done in gumpaste. The cake decorations were done in fondant. The argyle stiching was piped with royal icing. I placed second.
