Baby's nursery was being done in Americana, so they wanted a cake to go with that theme. Chocolate cake with BC frosting, and fondant accents, mixed with GumTex. Baby's feet formed around rice crispie treats, and "bum" is 1/2 styrofoam ball, covered in fondant.

Chipotle Burrito
My husband is a Chipotle nut, so what better birthday surprise, than a Chipotle cake?! I even talked them into giving me a couple of sheets of their paper liners to cover the board. Chocolate cake with fondant beans and tomatoes and rice. Grated white chocolate is the cheese, and marshmallow fluff is the sour cream. I also kneaded a few crumbs from the cake into the "tortilla," to make it look more real

Cupcake Wedding Dress
At first, I was a little disappointed that they "only" wanted a cupcake cake, but after I got into this one, it was so much fun! Cupcakes are white cake and chocolate cake, all with my crusting butter cream. Jewelry was supplied by the mother of the bride. I attached the cupcakes to the board with double sided tape, which only worked moderately well. If anyone else has done a cupcake cake, and has a better idea for attaching them to a board, please comment and let me know, because I would love to try something else next time. Thanks!

This Cake Was By Far The Biggest Use Of My Cricut Yet I Started Out Trying To Cut The Circles Individually But It Quickly Became Apparent
This cake was by far the biggest use of my Cricut yet! I started out trying to cut the circles individually, but it quickly became apparent that it would not work. The cake was lemon poppy seed with crusting cream cheese frosting, and lemon curd filling. The design on the sides was cut out on my Cricut in panels that overlapped at the ends. The panels went on very easily!

For This Wedding I Did 200 Cupcakes To Be Gifts For Each Guest In Addition To The Actual Wedding Cake Whew To Understand These Cupcakes
For this wedding, I did 200 cupcakes to be gifts for each guest, in addition to the actual wedding cake. Whew! To understand these cupcakes, you have to know that the groom proposed by burying the ring in the sand, and putting a sign saying "Dig Here". The cupcakes were made from BC white cake mix, tinted pink. The frosting was butter cream, sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs, and pearl dragees. The day of the wedding, I met the MOB and bridesmaids before the reception, and we added the ring and sign, and packaged them in upside down clear plastic cups. The second picture is the table of all 200 packaged cupcakes.

Piano Recital Graduation
My DD's, piano teacher was the first person to purchase a cake from me. It was for my daughter's recital when she was in elementary school. This week was her last recital as she is graduating and going off to college, so her teacher ordered a special graduation one. (there were 4 other seniors) Top and bottom tiers are white cake with vanilla mousse filling, middle tier is chocolate cake with vanilla mousse. All BC with fondant and 50/50 decorations. Inspiration for piano keys came from cake by cfpeoples, and bottom tier from jeana 77.

Paris Birthday
Cake for my daughter's 18 birthday surprise party. Man, was it hard to hide! Top tier 6" yellow cake, bottom tier 9" chocolate cake with cherry filling. All BC with fondant/GP accents. Eiffel Tower is royal icing. I didn't realize that it was going to be so big at the base, but I don't think anyone else cared. Had fun with my new Wilton silicone molds!

40Th Birthday
The birthday girl's husband ordered this and he really didn't know what he wanted. I talked about some of the possibilities, and all he really responded to was "polka dots" and "loopy bow. He knew she likes purple, but didn't want "K-State purple." Also, he said that the party was at a wine bar with a darker, very traditional decor. So here's what I came up with, along with one of the plates he gave me to use for colors. They pick it up this evening. Hope they like it!

Amanda's Cake
Can't tell you how MANY people asked where I found a fountain, because they hadn't seen one of these in years! lol Bride had wanted this since she was a little girl and saw pictures of her mom's cake. All white cake with one funfetti tier for the groom! All BC decorations and real flowers done by the florist.

Charms Bridal Shower Cake
First request for a shower cake with the charms; much easier than anticipated, especially since she wanted the basket weave. Strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting and regular BC roses. 50/50 bow. Bow and roses sprayed with pearl luster. Pedestal supplied by customer. Incidentally, the charms were specific to each guest, so I put a different bead at the end of each and made a "key" for the customer.

Aaron And Jessie
My brother's wedding cake. When he got engaged, he said he and his bride just wanted it to have "mom's icing, and her icing roses." (Our mom did wedding cakes as well.) Each tier is one layer white choc. and one layer choc. cake with chunks of white and semisweet choc in the filling. All decorations are white choc. BC. Very yummy! And they were so thrilled, my new SIL was literally jumping up and down!

Pink And Brown Baby Shower
First of all, thanks to ceshell for the inspiration and the help. Hope I did hers justice, but she is obviously more experienced than me! First time doing gumpaste booties. I was pretty happy with how they turned out. Also, just bought an extruder for this design. LOVE IT! So much fun! Dark Chocolate cake with chocolate BC (per MTB request) MMF and 50/50 accents dusted with pearl dust. The separate cake is a 4" because of some last minute additions to the guest list, and I had made this one with extra batter anyway. Just wanted to be on the safe side.
