This is a joke cake for my husband. He missed a turkey while hunting many times, (he did get one). So I figured I would put a bullseye on the turkey...can't wait for him to see it, lol.

My daughter wanted to give her teachers cupcakes for the last day of school. We found these planters ($1/each), took the fake flowers out and put cupcakes in. Used tip 127. Daughter wanted the pink grassy stuff in it, I think it would look better without. But that's ok:) I also put cake sparkles on as well.
French Vanilla Cake iced in Buttercream. Cap and diploma are fondant/gumpaste.
Rootbeer cake with a rootbeer glaze with a dollop of buttercream icing on top. They are yummy!
White Chocolate Cake with Buttercream icing. Covered in Fondant and Fondant/gumpaste bees, daisies and whimsy roses. Its really not leaning, must be the angle I shot the picture;)

Inspired by psurrette (who did a much better job than I did!). This was my first stacked cake. I didn't center it very well, so I need more practice with stacking. Anyhow this was a 10-8-6 layer cake with Sugarshacks Icing. Bottom was double chocolate, top 7& middle were vanilla. Notes were made out of milk chocolate and the topper was made from milk chocolate as well. Thanks everyone for their guidance with this project.

Top tier is lemon zest cake with lemon curd filling. Bottom is vanilla cake with buttercream filling. Fondant covering with fondant roses.
Inspired by Bakerilla from the Martha Stewart Show. I didn't exactly use her recipe, used truffles instead, and they came out cute. My pink candy melts came out too thin.

NFSC. I used a different glaze and icing and I'm not happy with either one. I need to find a good glaze! But these came out well, I should get some Bright White for the white glaze.
Chocolate Cake with Sugarshacks Icing. Did Frozen Buttercream Transfer, didn't come out as well as I hoped, letters are hard to do! There was also a flag, but it smeared:( Anywho, recommendations on doing letters? Can you pm me? Thanks!
I did this on one night and they are a lot of fun to do. My ski's broke on the bottom:( But everyone liked it. Donated to the Rec Dept. for the last day of skiing. Oh and it was Hershey's Chocolate Cake with Sugarshacks Icing.
Made a few more of the flowered cupcakes. Used WASC and buttercream icing.

I used Swiss Meringue Buttercream because my friend doesn't like any shortening. I don't particularly care for the taste, but its what she wanted. I had fun using the cupcake pan, it did take about 70 minutes to cook.
