There's a little too much reflection from the flash on this photo--sorry. The red shorts have flames on them which are really hard to see. I had to laugh at one little boy, about 3 years old, who came into the bakery yesterday and asked his mom if he could have a "pants on fire" cookie. I'm guessing he was familiar with the "liar liar pants on fire" phrase and not that they were valentine boxer shorts!
Valentine's Day Cookie Bouquet
14 different Valentine's Day cookies I made from old dough (better than throwing it out) for a display-only gift basket for the bakery
Cherry pie, blueberry pie, chocolate cream pie, key lime pie, lemon meringue pie--all buttercream
made from a half sheet chocolate cake cut up and stacked and 5 ice cream cones. All edible. All buttercream frosting.
This cake was for two boys from two different hockey teams celebrating their birthdays on the same day. All freehanded in buttercream.
It was hard to see the detail in the other photo so I added this one--one of the two views will probably be yanked off the site by the powers that be, but I'll give it a shot.
frosted, airbrushed with Luck's sparkle blue and silver, piped the lines on, and then dipped in clear crystal sugar
Made these for the bakery today. I made them in bright colors since it's so gray and snowy out. Thought they looked a little cheerier than the weather.
