Contest Cupcakes
Cupcakes I entered in a contest but alas I didn't win or even place. I did have fun designing and creating these however. The babies were made using a mold, and because I didn't know how to "paint" the clothes, I covered them with flowers and leaves. All the other pieces were hand made by me using my favorite trial and error technique. Thanks so much for looking.

First Time With Fondant
These are just three of the cupcakes I entered in the WD contest. My first time working with fondant. The frog and dice are fondant and the poodle was a white and pink jelly lollipop, that I sprayed with black food coloring and added black sugar accents. I must say I'm hooked on at least playing with fondant. The wrappers I designed using my paint program. Thanks for looking.

Tux Cupcake Collar
I tried to post this in the forum section, so please forgive that it's going thru the galleries. Made using a 6"x12" piece of scrapbook paper run through a paper crimper. I was able to get 2 cutouts. I made a pattern by cutting down one side of a regular cupcake liner and cutting out the bottom. I traced around this adding 1/4" to both the top and bottom curved edges, and 1/2" to both ends. AlamoSweets, dynee, and gabbycakes have all posted patterns.

Banana Split Cookies
Saw the banana split cakes done by agagnier and merissa, and thought they might make a good 3D two sided cookie arrangement. This was made for one of my grand-daughter's birthday. Ran out of time so didn't get all the details done that I usually do. Hand cut no-fail cookies with RI and a chocolate dipped spoon. Thanks for looking. And thank you agagnier and merissa for the inspiration.
