Antonia74's icing, just messing around with extras. I wish I had a reason to make these for someone.
Once again, Antonia74's RI. I was just messing around with some new cutters I got a couple of weeks ago. The ball on the hat has snowflake quins on it.
This was a sugar cookie with antonia74's RI. It was my first time using this recipe, and I was very pleased with how well it worked for me. This was taken from a goofy angle so the flash wouldn't it the plate... sorry!
German chocolate cake with a filling and of roasted pecan toasted coconut frosting, and german chocolate buttercream.
This is a simple chocolate chip birthday big cookie that I made for someone who likes boating and has a boat called the Purple Pride. I did the border in a random design that looks like waves when you look at it from the side.
Oreo cupcakes with white and chocolate swirled frosting and half an oreo stuck on the top (the oreo does soften during storage).
This was the first royal cookie I ever did--you can tell, but hopefully the colors will inspire someone. It is so much fun to do things when the ideas can come from me, instead of a dictated order. I love to experiment.
I love Charlie Brown's shirt so this was my inspiration. I get a little kooky from all the sugar at the holidays, can you tell?
This cookie has royal icing for the entire process. Then I sprinkled a little luster dust over it.
This was for my brother in his band's school colors. Nothing fabulous, but I did the staff with a skewer laid across the crusted buttercream and then just drew in the lines with the #2 tip.
for our district's transportation manager
Royal swirled together on a chocolate cut-out.
This is a big sugar cookie decorated with buttercream using leftover frosting from another project. This was my first sugar cookie to ever decorate, and I might add it to my repertoire if it tastest good tomorrow.
This was done for a girl who was getting married in the Dominican Republic and they were having an island themed cake. I didn't like how the sun turned out, but other than that, I thought it was okay.
The requestor wanted a cross and a chalice. I really didn't know what to do with the cross, so it looks like I just stuck it there (which I did) but I was happy with the rest of it. The host is made out of white chocolate that I melted and put in a mold. The rest is buttercream.
This was from a birthday party for a kid who liked Nascar. They added a car from his favorite driver when they showed it to him. Not that exciting if you ask me...
I made this for my grandma because she loves to sew and quilt. It didn't take long, and I wanted it to be spring colors since her birthday was this week and we are also celebrating Easter at the same time.
My two year old daughter did this at daycare for a circus theme. Not bad for her age, if you ask me!
This was done for a man's birthday--he obviously loved golf. It is hard to see--but the name is on golf balls with the dimples on it. My "Happy" is a little crooked but oh well. It can't be fixed on cookies... that is the only bad part about doing these.
This is a big chocolate chip cookie for Valentine's Day. I did five of these for one lady. They are so easy!
This is a lemon cake with buttercream frosting, done for the superintendent of schools--he was a librarian in the past and loves to quote books he read. He was a Valentine's B-day.
This is chocolate cake with buttercream filling.
Done with the grass tip for the needles
For some reason this is really a popular one--just done like normal figure piping.
Two bears were placed in a bag with a tag for a twin girls baby shower (see the feet that I also did to see the bag).
The animals and scene were created to match a bedding set that the new mother had registered for. I borrowed the cow/bird and the sheep off the comforter.
