Front view- Castle cake show piece made for the 3rd Annual Cake and Sugar ARt Show of Arizona. I spent about 45 hours on this cake myself, along with about 5 other member of my cake club for a total of approx 150 hours. The castle is constructed with a stryofoam base, cardboard and PVC pipes, rice krispies and fondant. There are 17 characters including a princess, knight, jesters, fairies and peasents. Also a carriage, trees, pond, frog, swans, mice, cat, bag of gold, pots, candles and a banner.

9x13 sheet frosted in cream cheese frosting. MMF butterflies, leaves and roses highlighted with pearl dust. ( My first try using the 5 petal rose cutter.)
3D ladybug made for a 90 year old lady. Rounded 8" pan. MMF flowers and accents.
