Toy Story Alien's Rocket
This cake was an adventure! It consisted of three 8 inch layers and the Wilton doll mold on top. I carved a cupcake to make a more defined point on the top. It was first iced in buttercream and then the bands of color and aliens were cut from fondant. The wings (not sure that is the right word for them) were made a few days ahead of time out of fondant so they would dry hard. This was very hard to transport because of it's height and wobbling. I know other drivers were yelling at me because I was driving too slow...oh well!

Baby Doll
A 6 inch chocolate cake for the buggy and an 8 inch vanilla cake for the bottom tier. This was for a little girl who loved her baby doll and all of her accessories. The buggy is a design by Debbie Brown. I will stick to icing my cakes in buttercream because I had a heck of a time covering the buggy in fondant! All the little accent pieces were also made from fondant.

Slice Of Cake
This is an 8 inch yellow cake that I made for my best friend. I have always wanted to try this design that I have seen on CC many times. I must have done something wrong because it just doesn't look right to me. Do you make the slice smaller when you take it out of the cake? Anyway, the bow, cut edges of the cake, candle and dots are fondant but the rest is iced in buttercream. If anyone has advice, I would gladly take it.

Monkey Cake
The customer asked me to make a cake similar to one she found on Pink Cake Box. It is a 6 inch yellow cake and a 8 inch chocolate cake iced in buttercream. The monkey face, flowers, #1, dots and stripes are made from fondant. The smash cake is 5 inches and also has a fondant face and dots on it. Personally I find that monkey face scary but that is what the customer wanted.

Dump Truck
This cake was made from five 6 inch layer cakes. It was a design I found in Wilton's book Celebrate with Fondant. I changed it a bit to match the partyware the customer was using. I didn't cover it entirely in fondant like the directions tell you. I iced it all in buttercream and then did the accents with fondant.
