Drivers License
This is for a 42 year old guy who still doesn't have a drivers license! The customer wanted to give him a drivers license cake. The picture of him is from when he was about 13, I enlarged it, printed it out on paper, and laminated it and put it on the cake. The "Massachusetts symbol" is also printed out on paper and laminated. His last name is spelled backwards.

Tie Dye Cake
This tie dye cake was easy. First I frosted the cake in white and wrote the words and drew the wavy circle around the words. Then I piped in one of the swirls with tip 18 and zig-zagging. Then I put the next color next to the first and drew a toothpick through the two colors to mix them.

Master; 5Th Degree Black Belt
I did this cake for free and it was so simple. I made use of household items. The bottom is just a bundt cake and the top was made in a small stainless steel bowl. It is frosted in bc and there is a pattern from a textured paper towel that I don't think is quite visible. The glass in the middle is a globe for a light fixture! The "belt" is made from the hem of karate pants that I had to shorten. (These Karate pants had a triple stitched hem.) I glued on the five strpes of ribbon on each tail of the belt. The dragon and fan are just pictures I cut out and laminated. The hexagon glass piece on top with the picture in it once contained a candle. The very top with the writing on it is just paper, cut and laminated.

Fondant Roses
The inspiration for this cake was the paper plates used for the shower. This cake is ivory in color. I made the roses out of fondant where I rolled yellow and pink together. The pattern in the background was hand stamped with a paper stamp I temporarily made. Each design was stamped individually. I drew the design, on paper, turned it over and traced it with tip 2 and Duncan Hines dark chocolae fudge frosting (but piping gel would have been a better choice), let it dry completely then stamped away.

Leopard Shoe
I don't know if you can see it, but the stocking is textured. I did the stocking first by filling it in with skin color and letting it crust. Then I put a Bounty textured paper towel over it and texturized it to make it look like fish nets. then I filled in the colors on the rest of the cake.

Silver Anniversary Bottom Tier
This is the bottom tier of a silver anniversary cake. It's 8 inch. I used a champagne glass surrounded by Christmas picks. The top tier will rest on the champagne glass. I tried to upload the photo of the whole cake; but cc seems to think it's the same picture ... oh well, the top tier was 6 inch and it had more silver Christmas picks on the top ... but no champagne glass.

Mini Wedding Cake
I felt bad when a co-worker of mine said she got married over the summer and it was just a JP. No reception, no cake, no honeymoon. So, I baked her this and brought it to work. It's bc and the roses and buds are royal. I had to put it next to the Pepsi can for the full impact of how small it is. It's a six inch single layer and a three inch made in a tiny mixing bowl.
