Hudson's Bday Cake
Almond butter cake with whipped frosting and choco-pan on mit and baseball. The ball and mit were made by using the invite as a template.
Wilson's Bday Cake
Wow! I have so much respect for all who do castle cakes....this was so hard! I've never done a square cake and never tiered a cake. The top tier smushed the bottom one and made it crooked. My daughter loved it and it was soooo yummy! WASC with hazelnut mousse and the top cake was cherry butter with cherry perserve filling. Got the idea from many other CCers.
Nyc Going Away Cake
8" vanilla butter cake with mousse filling and candy melt city scape and poodle.
Lots Of Love!
WASC with buttercream frosting and fondant accents. Found the iced sugar cookie at Michael's and it came with edible markers so I put my sister and her boyfriend's initials on it. Aside from the not-so-smooth bc, I thought this was really cute.
Mini Boden Bday Cake
My son wore a tshirt with this fish on it for his 2nd birthday and I made the cake to match. We also served white and blue cupcakes.
Thoughts Of Spring!
had some issues with this cake - still haven't got the hang of airbrushing; the puch cutter thing just made dents in the fondant instead of sticking the flowers in it and my daisies were too heavy - should have used gumpaste instead of fondant. oh well :)
cupcakes with chocolate accents...my first time piping candy melts. it was really hard!!!! i will have to practice a lot more!
Ladybug Birthday Cake
the inspiration cake was ByTheSlice's ladybug cake here on cc. i had a really great time making this and i think my best so far.
This cake was made for a friend's birthday. It was my first time making roses....it's very time consumming and definitely takes a delicate touch. Something I hope I will gain with practice. I was happy with the roses but the buttercream under my fondant was terrible. But most importantly, my friend loved it and I enjoyed making it!
Baby Shower Cake
This is my first shower cake. I had lots of inspiration from other C.C. cakes. The mom-to-be wanted lemon and chocolate so I did lemon butter cake with lemon curd filling and chocolate bc under the fondant. The shower hostesses wanted the "yeah, baby, yeah" on it. There were some boo-boo's on the top but I think the ribbon and dot border distracted the eye from it...I hope anyway.
