Katie's Cheer Cake
I am so dissapointed in this cake! It is nothing like how cute I had pictured it in my mind. The icing was too soft, the colors were being weird and I think the black is going to seep into the faces overnight. Grrrr. I mean it is only little girls who aren't really going to care, but when you have a super image in your head and you get this, it is frustrating.

Curious George Cake
I made this for my son's birthday party this weekend. It didn't turn out exactly how I had pictured it in my head but over all I am happy with it. The paint is royal icing for both the drips and the painting on the sides. I only made the prime colors: yellow, red, and blue. I got the other shades by mixing those together.

Church Baptism Cake
It is hard to see, but I added in a picture of the side of the cake.It is a flower and leaf pattern that is stenciled on there in frosting. The cross is painted in with food coloring mixed with almond extract. Same with the swirls. The writing on the cross says: There is one body, and one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one Baptism, one God, one Father, of all. Eph 4:4-6 It is abreviated from the full verses, for obvious logistic reasons.

Rianna's Birthday Cake
This is the cake I made for my cousin who is into basketball and water polo. I had much grander plans for this cake, but after having my original cake crumble, as well as other issues with the other cakes I was making I played this one safe and kept it in the pan. She liked it, I was disappointed in it.
