Princess Tiara Cake
Made for a 3 year old girls birthday party. The bottom tier is a 10-inch 2-layer yellow cake filled with bavarian creme, top is same in a 6-inch cake. Iced in pink buttercream. Roses, hearts and tiara are royal icing. Tiara painted in luster dust. Buttercream swiss dots painted with Antique silk luster dust. Edible pearls around writing and bottom of tiara. This cake was so!!!! fun to make!

I threw this one together last night for a retirement party. A 12x18, 2-layer, white cake filled with fresh strawberry filling and iced in vanilla almond buttercream. All decorations are buttercream. I was happy with how it came out, however I am pretty bored with making sheet cakes!

Antique Plate Cake
This cake was made for a lady that wanted me to match the plate in the picture. It was for a party where the plates would be used. Originally she just wanted me to match the plate but then she called and asked if I could seperate the cake into 20 pieces so she could cut long thin slices with decorations on each slice. So this is what I came up with. It is a crusting cream cheese icing with royal flowers and gold luster dust accents.

Jessica's Birthday Cake
I made this for my sister-in-law for her birthday. She loves the color red and strawberry. So it is a 4 layer strawberry cake filled with white chocolate bavarian cream and iced in white chocolate buttercream. All the decorations are buttercream with the exception of a little luster dust painted on here and there.

Wedding Shower Tea Mini's
I made 8 dozen of these little mini tarts for a wedding shower tea. 4 dozen chocolate crusts filled with chocolate mousse and topped with hand piped white chocolate hearts dusted in gold luster dust and 4 dozen crusts filled with Bavarian Creme and topped with a blueberry and a strawberry wedge and glazed with apricot jam. I also made 8 dozen scones for the same event!

Bridal Shower Cupcakes
I made these for a small bridal shower being thrown for a school employee. I actually got the order from sending some cupcakes to the school to try to drum up buisness. this is the first order I have recieved! Chocolate layer cake with white chocolate buttercream swirls topped with pink and red half roses and sprinkles with a mixture of cake sparkles and shimmer dust. I bought shimmer dust and didn't know what to do with it since it doesn't really work like luster dust so I mixed it in with my cake sparkles

Maroon And Yellow Flowers And Stripes
4 layer white cake filled with rasberry buttercream, iced in whipped cream and decorated with buttercream flowers and stripes. This one was ordered by a lady for her son returning home. She wanted lots of flowers and decorations without being too feminine. I am pretty happy with the results.

2- layer chocolate fudge cake iced in chocolate buttercream. Decorated with fondant daisies and buttercream dots dusted in shimmer dust. This cake was for the Quality Control department at my husbands work to congratulate them on a job well done after launching a new computer program.

Chocolate Gardenias
2-layer Devil's food cake with chocolate buttercream. Borders, writing and embroidery done freehand in white buttercream. Gumpaste Gardenias and leaves (my first attempt at gumpaste) This cake was made for my sister who loves gardenias. the Gardenias were tricky! Kind of like a rose but not quite. More petals in each row and a tighter center. I wasn't happy about the chocolate buttercream bulge under the bottom rose, I didn't notice it until I saw the picture.

Wilton Course Iii Final Cake
Well, I made it through the Wilton courses! I loved making this cake! The bottom tier is orange cake with orange buttercream filling, covered in MMF. The top tier is banana cake with butercream filling covered in MMF. The roses are made of Wilton fondant and the sepals nd leaves are MMF. All the borders and dots are buttercream. I am really gonna miss my Monday night classes!

Wilton Course 3 Package Cake
2 layer lemon cake with lemon curd filling. Covered in MMF. Bow made of Wilton fondant. This is the first cake I have covered in MMF. I love the stuff! I took it to class to cover my cake and eveyone tasted it and loved it too! I was pretty happy with my cake. However I didn't really like the color pink my bow came out and I don't like the wrinkles on the top of my cake. That darn guide we used to roll out on! I couldn't get the wrinkles out of mine!
