The cake is chocolate with buttercream and fondant slats brushed with cocoa powder. It was a big hit. The kids loved eating the crabs!

This was for my neice's birthday. Chocolate cake with chocolate transfer Jasmine.
Justin's 2005 Fair Entry Cupcake
This is my son's entry in the fair for children's decorated cupcake. He made the chocolate buttermilk cupcakes from scratch (he's 9) and iced in buttercream, added royal icing baby bluebirds and chinese noodles for a nest. The picture does this cupcake no justice! They are so cute!
This was my entry for the Adult Decorated Cupcake division. Last minute because of my bushel of crabs cake dilema but happy with the way it turned out. I'll find out later today how I did!
Royal Icing Collar - Fair Entry
This was my other fair entry from last night for the Special Occasion/Parties cake division. I used royal icing and painted with food coloring after it dried. The bottom collar broke into 4 pieces while I was putting it together! I "glued" it to the base with more royal icing. This is my first royal iced cake.
Basket Of Fall Leaves
This is my fair entry that I dropped off last night for the novelty cake/other division. It was supposed to be another bushel of crabs cake but I ran out of time to make the crabs. I had made the leaves last Thanksgiving to make a turkey cake that never got made so I improvised!
Basketball 12Th Birthday Cake
This was for a friends daughter that starts basketball camp this week. It is vanilla with buttercream icing and chocolate rolled buttercream letters and numbers.
First Birthday Smash Cake

World's Best Dad Humidor Cake
This was presented to my husband by my son and then taken to my Dad's house for a Father's Day celebration. Each Dad was given a cigar to enjoy after we ate. It was strawberry with buttercream icing ~ dad's favorite! My son picked out the wood grain and we had it printed on edible images along with the plaque and note to dad. Pictures were taken before my brother tried to open it!

Last minute cake for a friends daughter. Two layer chocolate cake with buttercream filling and icing. Tinker Bell figure and butterfly sprinkles.
50Th Wedding Anniversary
This is it! My first stacked and/or tiered cake. I was very happy with how well it turned out. They were happy with it too! She wanted yellow cake with no filling (?), buttercream and pillars - that was it. I decorated how I wanted. Three tiers 12", 8" and 6"; yellow cake with buttercream and fondant ribbon roses and filler flowers with gold ribbon, leaves and dragees.
"her" Shower Cake
This was the "her" cake for the same bridal shower as the firehelmet. Vanilla cake filled with buttercream and rasberry. Frosted in a fluffy, light buttercream. Flowers were fresh from a florist to match her wedding flowers.
I made this for "his" cake at a bridal shower. He is a firemarshall. Cake is chocolate filled with layers of buttercream and rasberry covered in fondant. Would also make a great grooms cake.
