Vanilla Cake Truffles
Vanilla Cake truffles topped with RI pansies and ladybugs. Others topped with more "chocolate", toasted coconut, and crushed peppermint (my favorite). They are in the candy foils (for size reference), next time I will make them a bit smaller so they will fit better! They were a very yummy way to use up my cake scraps and also a fancy treat for the potluck I went to. Everybody loved them!

Making Music Cupcakes
This was a chance for me to try out my red velvet & cream cheese frosting recipes & my new stand. The cupcakes were delicious but the stand --well its wilton...... I did like how pretty the cupcakes looked on there because of the red. They would look really cool with blue stars on top for the 4th of July. I printed out musical notes and piped over them in chocolate.

Love Around The World
This is my 2nd try at a cinched waist cake (8,7,8"). I am much happier with this one. I cut out the map out of paper and traced around it with a paring knife on marbled fondant. I would love to have suggestions for applying a bow to the side of a BC cake. I am so afraid that it may have fallen off-didn't feel real secure. Flags are paper on picks. Silver is that lovely silver glaze! Board is covered with maps I printed out.

Oh Boy Laundry Cake
I have seen this cake several times on CC and spent about 2 hours(back in Feb.) looking through the baby shower gallery for one specific cake that had a a stand-up line on top. I never did find it but if it is you THANKS!! I also had posted a thread back in Feb. asking for help with fixing this cake. The thread is gone so I don't know who to thank! I am so sorry. I always try to keep track of that because I am so truly appreciative! I tried to make a bear like Aine2. This is a 10" and 8" dummy.

Happy Birthday Bubbles
Client wanted my pink & brown cake but with pinks & lime green instead. I also switched the ABC style of the name & the design of the tiers. I really wanted to be able to show two different cakes in my portfolio. I think this was a 10 & a 6 (I think  ). I was having trouble with the colors so I found a piece of scrapbook paper to match! I think I am going to put together a "color" book made up with pieces of scrapbook paper to have at consults.

Dinosaur Cookies
Dinosaur Cookies on wands. Covered with marbled fondant and RI simple decor. These were also for the auction at DDs school. I started with the green fondant and then added purple color for the steg. Then balled it up and added some blue color and a sausage of white fondant for the bront. Then balled that up and added red color for the T-rex. I was very pleased with how they turned out and it was so easy to give them all a different look! Fondant is my new fav way to "flood" a cookie!

Katy's Cake
I made this cake for a friend who just received the Tulare County (of California) Panhellenic Woman of the Year Award. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta so I incorporated their "logo pin" with the twin stars and Greek letters and their flower, the pansy. She was so pleased with it. This was my first time experimenting with drop strings and stuff for a real cake! I need to practice more but I was pleased with how easy it was to paint the RI! Fondant covered 7".

Blastoff
9x13 cut in thirds & stacked. I got home at 1:45 to pull a frozen stacked cake out of the freezer then carved it and lightly crumb coated. Then I spent some time trying to find inspiration on CC- Thanks Merissa (I couldn't put on all the windows though cause I had to leave a large chunk of cake with no artificial colors). The party was at 3:00 and we were only a little late. So basically I carved and frosted this guy in about an hour!! The idea of the candles from several pirate ship cakes on here!

Post-It Present
A classic package cake with a twist, instead of a box it is a giant Post-It pad. 9" square cake covered in Vanilla BC Dream and topped with 50/50 sheets of paper and bow. Had a lot of fun with this one. It was for a friend who also is the church secretary. She loved it. Pressed in the sides with a bench scraper to get the paper pad look. I think this would be great for secretaries day too!

Marthajo1's Birthday Cake!
This is what happens when you ask your DH to let you make your own cake! It took me soooo long to narrow down my "cakes I have been wanting to try making" list. Then I had it stacked and frozen, and went to a home show. We were gone about 3hours longer then I thought! Oops! Decorated a frozen block of cake in no more then and hour and a half! LOL Never Again! Chocolate clay & Toba's fondant in vanilla. Triple Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Dream Buttercream.

Aero Dogs Birthday Cake For A Set Of Twins Turning 3
Very fun cake to make. 3 layers of Nilla~Fetti Cake with Chocolate Dream fill. Frosted with Vanilla Dream. Airbrush silver LD on bottom 2/3. Wings are cardboard. Image is on photo paper for lack of something else to use. Cake was made by slicing and stacking 1 and 1/2 9x13 cakes. This cake was made to look like a restaurant in Tulare, CA called Aero Dogs. It is made out of an old T-29 from the 50's. Very cool! They only make hot dogs-- that is why the small cakes look like dogs.

Baby Ballet Dreams
Thanks so much to Ckkerber for a lot of the ideas I used on this cake....I was stumped. It is an 8" on top of a 7" 2 layer, twice torted triple Chocolate cake with my Chocolate version of BC Dream. The chocolate fondant is aprox. a 25/75 mix of fondant to chocolate clay. The pink is Toba's fondant with extra vanilla and extra glycerin. The shoes and their ribbons and the sign are made with a 50/50 blend of Wilton fondant and Wilton pre-made gumpaste.

It's Laundry Day
This cake was inspired by many adorable laundry cakes! The sandals are made using CakeDesign's pattern (available in Spanish Language Forum). All the accent pieces are made with Toba's fondant or fondant/gumpaste mix. The blanket is impressed with tiny heart stamps and dusted on the edges to look like satin binding (yeah came out just like I wanted! ) BC Dream (for color-ability) over Triple Chocolate BC. 10" Triple Chocolate Cake. I circled my favorite outfit!

John Deere Groom's Cake
Thanks to Amy729 for your fabulous example of a tractor cake! I had a lot of fun on this one and was so sad when I realized that I had forgotton to put on my RI steering wheel (I had made it in a lily nail so it was really cool! :( !! ) It is a 2-layer 9x13 chocolate with chocolate BC and a carved tractor out of white cake. Toba's fondant and BC Dream.
