I get 2-3 orders a week for this stacked present cake...the christmas colors was really nice this time of year!
This photo was taken by the photographer of the wedding and I was so impressed with how she made my bow look so cool. So I had to post it. (wasnt sure if I am allowed to give photographers name?)
This was for a set of twins 4th birthday. I loved the story. One twin loves flowers, the other loves monkeys. So the mom asked for monkeys crawling all over the flowers. The monkeys are made of chocolate fondant. Yumm!
This cake was the first cake my step son (who is 11) rolled out the fondant for me! He did a great job! I put the blow up of the baby as it is a first impression mold.
This was just a buttercream cake, with fondant strips and gum paste bow. The lid is also fondant.
I just thought this cake turned out pretty! (just buttercream and scroll work and dragees here and there) This was a cake for right before the holidays..
The grooms name was Stanley ..so this was a cute idea! I just carved a 10 inch cake, and covered with fondant. Edible image. Silver airbrush.
This was not a fun cake to do, as I should have told the customer I would use RKT. But its all cake. Chocolate. with Chocolate buttercream. I never want to see a chocolate cake again! But it worked out ok. There are more skewers in there then a shishkabob!
This cake was actually very easy to make. It is layers of fondant cut out and airbrushed. The marine corps is a chocolate mold. All airbrushed gold paint.
The petals on this cake were just cutout fondant. The ribbon is real, and I made the bow seperate. Rest of cake is buttercream.
The stripes are chocolate fondant. This was a very easy cake to make! Ther est of the cake is buttercream.
I keep getting these orders where they want no design on the side of the cake to just challenge me I guess! The orchids were from the florist and the prettiest flowers I have ever seen!
I have done so many of these, each one just turns out better each time! I use the Cut into the cake method with the SPS system. Very sturdy and turns out cool looking
This was fer sure the hot colors this year. I loved doing this cake, as it was the untraditional wedding cake. Its all buttercream, with the fondant cutouts, bow is made of chocolate.
I know, not a pro team, but didnt where else to put this really simple cake to do! Edible image!
I am slowly getting faster at these..but more and more brides want this what they call Simple Cake design..
I was afraid it would look to dark, but this cake turned out really nice for the outdoor wedding. Chocolate brown fondant with blue gum paste leaves and buttercream
I love my air brush. I cannot say that enough. The bride was carrying these fire cala lillies and the air brush was just perfect in getting them the right color for the gum paste flowers. I was very pleased with it and so was the bride!
This is the cake I did for the statefair this year. I just finished it and thought I would ask y'all what you think. The main parts are gumpaste and fondant, even the popcorn. The hot dog is fondant. I drop it off tomorrow!
This has become like my signature cake. It seems to be the favorite of brides this year. This cake is made with crusted buttercream and then using the impression mat for the little quilting. Its so simple and pretty.
This seems to be the in color this year....
The florist wanted to put the flowers on each corner, I don't know, it looks funny to me. Maybe its just my taste. Anyway, the bow is gumpaste, I dipped the edges..PM me if you are interested in how to dip the edges. EASY.
Cake is buttercream and I made the leaves out of gum paste with a cutter and silicone impression.
Fondant covered wedding cake with dusted stenciling work and dragess.
This was a cute grooms cake I did...the fishing Ram is from the bear pan and the fish is just carved from a sheet cake.
This was actually not too hard to do...I cut out the cake, airbrushed it and did the panther in fondant and kind of shaped it on the cake. The writing is royal icing.
