Lady Cookies
I made these for a co-worker of mine in another state. She helped me out of a jam and has had the patience of Job with me! I just wanted to thank her for her help and friendship. I'm going on a business trip and will meet her finally. Sugar cookies covered with marshmallow fondant and royal icing.

Anniversary Cake From...well...you Can Figure It Out.
This is a cake I made for my in-law's 50th anniversary party. It didn't turn out anything like I envisioned. If it could go wrong, it did. I intend to post all that I learned from this later, after I recover from the 3 week sprint to get it done. It is white cake iced in buttercream and dusted with white cake sparkles and gold luster dust. Some of the flowers were fondant, others were silk. I think all ended up ok, but not my best work.

Kindergarten Graduation
I know this isn't my best work, but I think it came out cute. It is the first time I tried for a BCT. This is a rocky road ice cream/chocolate cake with Dawn's buttercream icing. It is for my son's Kindergarten Graduation. The school isn't doing any kind of ceremony so I decided to to one at home. Made him a little diploma and everything!!!

S_Cake_006.jpg
I made this for my Dad. I realize it is kinda feminine, but I had some things I wanted to practice. This is my first attempt at using marshmallow fondant, as well cornelli lace & the decorative presses. It's not by any means perfect, but I think it's ok. I made a few mistakes, too, but I think I'll hide them in the back(LOL). I tried a different flavor for the icing as well & won't do that again...I used butter flavoring instead of the valencia/creme bouquet that I usually use & really don't like it.
