Here is the cake that put me in such a bad mood. The icing and stacking job on this were terrible but the decorations turned out pretty cute.
I just wanted another picture for my portfolio. I was pretty happy with it but wish I could get my icing smoother and my top edges much more crisp.
My version of the deer cake. Thanks flayvurdfun.
This is my version of the Louis Vuitton cake. I thought it turned out okay but I wish I knew how to paint fondant better. This is done with edible markers. It was for my mom's birthday. This is probably as close as she will get to an LV purse. :)
This was my second wedding cake. I was fairly pleased with it.
This is a bigger pic of the one I tried to attach earlier.
First edible image. It was very easy!!
This was the pumpkin cake recipe from this site with cream cheese icing. Yummy! I kept telling people it was a pumpkin cake and they were like "Yea, I see that." I was like "No, it is a pumpkin cake shaped like a pumpkin." It got to be amusing. Everyone loved it.
I combined a couple of Boween's designs. All buttercream with fondant bow and footprints.
This cake was really cute when I left the house. As I was taking it into my mother-in-laws I tripped and the whole thing fell on the floor face down. It was horrible. All I can say is I'm glad it was for family and not a stranger.
Sorry this picture isn't better. My digital camera was not charged and had to be plugged in. This was as close as I could get. This was for my son's ninth birthday. He is a huge St. Louis Blues fan. We had eighteen boys at our house. CRAZYYY!
