This cake was inspired by a wedding dress. It was also for competition. It won first runner up. It is entirely edible. There are over 1000 hand made sequins and pearls on this cake. It has hydrangeas on the top.
This is a competition piece. The eagle has a frame to hold him up, but other than that is is made from a base of modeling chocolate covered with gumpaste feathers. Each branch of the military is represented on a side of the octagon cake. The names of fallen soldiers are painted on by hand in gold luster dust. It won first runner up and People Choice.

This is chocolate cake with a layer of white cake in the middle of each one, to resemble an oreo when cut. There are oreos actually crushed into the chocolate cake. It is all cake.

I loved how this cake turned out, until we transported it, then it had some issues. It was a tiramisu cake and was very moist and did not travel well. It made it, but barely.
