Cotton Club Wedding Cake

This picture has been trapped in my phone for more than 2 weeks...you wouldn't believe what I've gone through to get it out. That'll teach me to forget my camera. :) Thanks to mmdd in the forums for helping me out. This is a 6", 9", 12" with scrollwork to match the bride's shirt. I never saw the shirt in question, I just took her word for it. :)

Ava's Stacked Presents

The baby's room was going to be lime green with polka dots, so the shower cake matched that theme, wrapped up in chocolate ribbons and bows like a present, complete with a tag for baby Ava! 8" and 4.5" squares. All MMF.

An Aggie Bonfire groom's cake. It was a mixed marriage...Aggie groom and Longhorn bride. She was a good sport, though! It's a 5", 8", and 11", with piroulene cookies, and the outhouse is made from craft sticks.

Snowman And Presents

Here's a cake inspired by rvallee and others in the gallery. MMF snowman and presents. Ice cream cones with buttercream leaves (although I should have used another tip, they look like relatives of Sigmund the Sea Monster!). Everything else is buttercream.

Tuxedo 80Th Birthday Cake

Here's a birthday cake for a man who loves to wear his tuxedo. I meant the hat to look like a top hat, but when it got on there it looked more like a gangster hat to me!! Oops!! It's a 14", 11", 8", and 7" (hat). The '80' is decorated sugar cookies with buttercream and dragees. I baked them with popsicle sticks in them to secure them to the cake.

13 individual cakes make up this stack of presents. All cutouts and bows are fondant. Piping details are buttercream, and the poinsettias are royal icing. Hand-sculpted fondant teddy bear.

A huge baby shower cake for a nervous grandma. Inspired by a cake from Wilton's Tiered Cakes book called "Teddy's Ready to Play", but without the creepy stand-up bear on top. :) Grandma was so nervous she made me nervous, but luckily it came out great and she was thrilled.

First Louis Vuitton Purse

This cake was a lot of work and a lot of fun. It's a 10" square cut in half and stacked on end. Covered in all MMF. Logos in edible marker. Zipper is MMF painted with gold luster dust and vodka. I used a lot of fellow CC'er's cakes for inspiration, thanks guys! It's for an 18 year old girl's birthday, I hope she likes it!

Hurricane Rita

The wedding couple were brought together by the Hurricane Rita evacuation last year, so they requested a hurricane-shaped cake to commemorate it! It's a 9" round, and I carved the wings out of a sheet cake. It was quite a challenge, but I like the way it turned out.

It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

MMF covered 14 and 8" cakes scatterd with dried fondant leaves and mellowcreme pumpkins. The tree is hand-moulded MMF and the figurines are the 2006 Hallmark Collection. I just love the Peanuts gang at the holidays!

This is basically a version of the wedding cake I did for my sister. It's a dummy cake for a display in a restaurant. I liked the colors in Bree's wedding cake on Desperate Housewives this week (you know you watched it too!) so I used them here. All MMF. MMF bow and pearls, and royal icing vines and flowers painted with super pearl.

Keepsake Box

This was very challenging for me, and it was for the owner of my husband's company, so no pressure! A cake to match, as closely as possible, the Keepsake Box shown in the two small inset pictures framed in green). The base and lid are cardboard wrapped with fondant. The cake is three stacked 8x12's. The carriage on front was going to be a FBCT, but it fell off!! So thanks to my wonderful sister for sugggesting a fondant cutout in blue, then piping in the details.
