AJust add the cost of the ingredients fuel delivery etc then add up your hourly rate, add that to your production cost decide how much profit you want.

I just looked at the hundreds of cakes (and other products) on your website. You are quite talented! But now I'm confused about why you have asked this question on a public forum.

You may want to continue following this website pricing........... It' sounds pretty well thought out.

"....Our traditional fondant cakes start at $280 (8″ round cake) for simple designed cake, no toppers. Our 6″ & 8″ round cake starts at $450 for simple designed cake, no toppers. Tiered cakes, topsy turvy and other shaped cakes have additional charges. Sculpted cakes start at $1,200, many have flat prices regardless of serving sizes due to the intricate detailed work involved. Edible figurines, shoes, and similar edible items are an additional cost on top of the cakes, figurines can be anywhere from $150 – $2,000 depending on the details. We priced our cakes by the labour we put in, we are NO LONGER pricing our custom cakes by serving size as of February 1, 2014. Every event is special so whether it’s a celebration cake or a wedding cake, they are priced the same way...."

Hi MimiFix, the website on the picture is not my website.

My customer downloaded the picture on internet and wanted to get the estimate of this cake.

The bottom cake will be 8" square, the top cake will be 6" square. She wants all the fondant figures.

Thanks!
