this is my favourite quote of all time. it became so when i took up the fight for equal access for disabled people in my town.

it is the thing that gives me strength and it is the thing that reminds me that injustice will only succeed when good people stand by and do nothing to challenge it.

Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, they send a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”
― Robert F. Kennedy

Quote:

"No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you."

i like the snarky scriptures heheheh

another fave that never goes out of style--proverbs 17:28

Here is a quote that my silly late DH used to say "Never, ever play leap frog with a unicorn"

“Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride.”

Unlike some I don't play with scriptures or the word of God. It was meant for the OP who was just trying to be a peace maker in her own way.

I used my avatar when I was being made fun of for speaking up for others who I felt were being mistreated and being called someone living in a world of rainbows and unicorns. I will be that rainbow colored unicorn if that is what you believe I am for standing up for righteousness and being considerate of others. When life gives you lemons you make lemonade.

I will tell you this your words like mine are being read by many, words that you can never take back. Words that paint your true character and what lies within your heart. Yes, and you shall know them by their fruit.

I Forgive You, And May God Bless You And Keep You

The phrase 'Do Not Be Afraid' is written 365 times in the Bible.  That is a daily reminder from God to live every day with courage.
