Alright so I've entered the world of making cupcakes... and it is by far one of my favorite things to do..which has lead to selling to friends and family. I started out using a handmixer...then had a sunbeam...and now the heavens opened up and blessed me with a kitchenaid.... its kind of intimidating.... usually i would mix my dry ingredients seperate then add them to the wet ingredients do i still need to do this with the kitchenaid or can everything be mixed in one bowl... any other tips advice for taking cupcakes to the next level
also how to make a good cream cheese frosting...its always runny
ACongratulations on your new kitchen aid!! Gretchen price aka woodland bakery has a good tutorial on YouTube on how to make a stiff cream cheese icing HTH
The order for adding ingredients, and the amount of mixing at each step is important. follow your favorite recipe as written. Your kitchenaid will just make everything easier and more efficient. you may also be able to make things in bigger batches. Enjoy!

Brrrrrrr:( .... "homemade" No wonder why most of people do not know the taste of real cake. Sorry for the off topic
The first dumpcake with fruit is as old as the hills. My mom was making it 60 years ago as a peach cobbler to go with ice cream. She learned it from her mother.
Back to the KA mixer: Follow your recipes as you always do. The machine is not magic it just feels like it.
and keep your hand mixer. I use mine often. Good luck

I love a hot fresh dump.
I blame Anna for that comment, she is a bad influence.
