AWhat brand of fondant is the best to use? I've been using Satin Ice but a friend of mine said Fondx Elite is the best to use because its more pliable. Just wondering what everyone else thinks..
:)
I use Satin Ice for my black because it is a true black. I also use SI for my brown. I use the elite for my hot pink and everything else I color using Fondx. As cupcakemaker stated, there are many different opinions on this. Cost is also a big factor for me too. Fondx is also very reasonably priced.
AYou'll get many answers for.many reasons.
I'm a honorific girl, but there are those who really hate it. I personally ally hate everything about MMS. I despise it. Others, swear by it.
Sadly, you'll have to play with a few to.see what works best for you.

Replace 'honorific' with carma massa, and that's exactly how I feel, haha.
Although, I think honorific was an auto correct for fondarific, lol.
I typically use fondarific. Fondx is too soft for me. I also use Satin Ice for my colored fondants like black red and and brown. If I'm just doing decorations or panels I like to use wilton bc it dries so quickly and is easy to work with. I don't like the taste of fondant period and I hate marshmallows so for me it's not about which one tastes the best- I use what works the best in my climate and for me. :)
