Wedding Cake - 3 Tiers- What Sizes Should I Use

I will be doing my first wedding cake in less than a month.  My original plan was to do 12",10",8" tiers.  I just finished doing a birthday cake for my niece, it has 2 tiers 8" and 6".  The spacing seems small.  Maybe it's just because of how it is decorated or because they are smaller cakes to begin with.  I have attached the picture that the bride gave me of the cake she wants.  My question is should I stick with my original plan or should I look at maybe doing 14",10",6" tiers?  What would you say the sizes of the tiers are in this picture?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks icon_smile.gif

I was told 80-90 guest so I think the 10 and 12 would more than cover that.
