Hello Everyone,

I would like to bake a giant ferrero cupcakes for my son's 28th birthday he loves ferrero and I thought he'll love it! I've never baked a giant cupcake before but would love to give it a try as I have taken to baking recently. Please can someone advice what is the best giant cupcake tin to buy the largest size the better and if anyone have any recipes or books they can advice me with I would be most grateful don't have much time as his birthday is a month and a day from today 2nd July and I need to get practicing!

From now on I would like to bake my own cakes instead of buying from supermarket I am glad I have found this forum and saw so many brilliant professional cakes I hope to learn lots and make friends.

Thanks everyone in advance!

Aimee :)

AWelcome! :)

Are you wanting to make a cake that looks like a big ferrero rocher or are you wanting a ferrero flavored giant cupcake? Or both?

AThis sounds yummy, I'm wanting to do a giant one soon also, they look so cool!! It would be lovely if you do a chocolate sponge for the cupcake, with hazelnut & chocolate buttercream then stick ferero riches onto the butter cream, then put some chocolate fingers around the cupcakes base (like where a cupcake case would be on a small one) its gonna look and taste rocking whatever you do, I'm going to try and do one next week I think, I'm going to do a chocolate one and then put my dads fave chocolate sweets on the top like, maltesars, m&ms etc; the only thing I'm confused with is the amount of mixture, would we just double cupcake mixture to fill the giant cupcake mould... I love giant cupcakes, this thread has come at just the right time! :)
