Hello everybody, I recently found a tutorial on how to make your own Kopykake. The idea is roughly the same, to project an image onto your cookie and trace over it with icing. I am working on making one myself, since I don't have the funds for a real Kopykake. icon_sad.gifBased on the tutorial, it seems to work very well. The only difference is you won't be able to change the size of the projected image as easily as with a real Kopykake. But for the difference in price, it's fine with me. icon_biggrin.gif Below is the link that shows you how to make the projector. icon_smile.gif

I currently have a kopykake. However, prior to the purchase I did a lot of royal icing transfer for detailed images.

This technique works perfectly.  I tried it on a princess cookie and the result was awesome. Thanks to the video from Montreal Confections.
