The Grand Re-Opening (which will apparently also include a press conference) is actually by invitation only, the general public will not be allowed in.

AOh My GAWD. Seriously. I couldn't watch the video, I could feel my blood pressure raising. It was worse that a train wreck. I watched the Netflix version of Gordon's show, where they don't bleep out the cussing, and I think it is hilarious. The thing that everyone who succeeds has on common is listening and wanting to learn. These people are unteachable. I seriously couldn't watch after they fired the girl, and she quit. It was amazing. Seriously horrible!

I started watching this episode on TV but after the fourth or fifth agruement and the lies I had to turn it off... my husband turned it back on right as Gordon Ramsey quit and I have to say that shocked me more than anything... but when you see a lost cause why fight...

Awful woman, and too much eyeliner which only adds to her evil persona.

AAnother theory is that Samy is using the restaurant as a front for money laundering -- he is a self-described "gangster", he was nervous about his wife calling the police, and he wouldn't let anyone else use the POS system.

AAnd most, if not all of their food/cake photos are stolen from different sites.

AThe desserts they sell are also not made there, they just buy them wholesale, repackage and sell them.

My guess: Amy doesn't know that the restaurant is a front (if it is in fact a front) and honestly thinks that the restaurant is thriving due to her amazing skills, so she pushed to get on the show to prove the "haters" wrong. During the show it was apparent that Amy had no idea what was happening on the business side, so it would be pretty easy for Samy to show her fake reports indicating that the restaurant is highly profitable.

Hypothetical situation: Let's say (for example) he's creating 4 fake orders in the POS system for each real order. On a given day let's assume he serves 10 real tables with an average bill of $50 each. The actual gross for the day would be $500 so you would expect that tips would be about 15% of that, or $75. On the (cooked) books, it would look as if there were 50 tables served that day for a gross of $2500, so tips should be closer to $375.

One way to avoid this discrepancy is simply not to hand out tips, so the accounting stays secret. Of course by doing this he is probably violating labor laws so it's not a very good solution.

Not entirely sure why she agreed to go on Gordon Ramsey's show.  Now she is about to be investigated...sounds like she's in trouble.

AI've been watching this and checking their facebook over the last few days. I think this is probably the funniest thing I've ever seen on the net. I don't think I've laughed so hard, especially the God child stuff bwahahaha. Amy is absolutely NUTS.

Ok I have to be the voice of reason and seriously ask how many of you actually believe what's on the show.  I am very skeptical of "reality" TV and I do believe that most, if not all of what you see is made up.  I have never watched the show so I am only making assumptions based on what I've seen on other shows.  I am also skeptical about the Facebook thing.  Do you think a business would really do that? 

Forget reason. Who cares if it is real or not.  It is funny.

I'm sure there was some creative editing involved, but they have lashed out like this against negative reviews before, so the way they are reacting is pretty believable. I recommend actually watching the show and looking at the history of the owners before forming your opinion.

The show definitely brought out the worst in the owners, but I don't think it was due to the editing...patrons who were there when they heard Ramsey was coming to town were far more willing to send unsatisfactory food back instead of just letting it slide. Whether or not sending the food back was always justified is an open question (based on Ramsey's meal it probably was) but the owners' reactions stand on their own. In fact, the show actually cut some footage of the fight the day before, since apparently it continued to escalate until the police showed up.
