Anyone used these.....? I stumbled on them after watching a youtube video and saw the person using it. REALLY cheap on Ebay, but..... (little whisper- you get what you pay for?)... or, since they are used for a short time anyway, good enough?

i have bought some of the cheap disposable bags on ebay.  one batch was good, another tended to split along the seem if you squeezed a bit hard.  i do find them handy though, and for a few dollars i think they are worth it. not sure which brand i bought though.

I just hate washing bags... and these are sooooo cheap....hmmm?

AI'm not sure which piping bang your referring to. I use disposable blue ones, I hate washing bags so I find these very handy and haven't had a problem with them. These seem to sell for about $.04-$.06 each ($US). Many people use the Wilton bags, which after any coupons or discounts, come to about $.12 each  (and they are the smaller size, similar to the 4 cent Chinese made). 

So at 1/3 the price, I was just wondering.... 

US amazon doesn't seem to list the blue "savoy" bags.....? 

Just a hobbyist... so I was just being cheap AND lazy....lol

I bought very similar ones off ebay.  The only problem I found was I had to double some of them as the seams tore or bulged when you piped the icing, not all of them, just a few.   All in all a pretty good deal.  I would order them again as I don't like washing bags.

Not entirely sure where they are made, I saw them being used at the bakery I used to work in so assumed that they were good. They are very sturdy, the bakers used to fill them in again and again, we also use them in my pastry school. I forgot that they may not be available In the US, so this was probably unhelpful.. Sorry.. They may sell them on eBay though

I can't comment on the Wilton ones since I haven't used them, but they may give the same results as others mentioned they are pretty good.

I get my piping bags from in2food.  They're the cheapest I've been able to get; on top of it they're flipping amazing.  They're disposable, have super grip, and I can use them over and over as they're sturdy as heck.  I haven't had any seam breaks or bulges (knock on wood).  I love them so much I lock them in my desk and don't share :o $0.18 each and they're 21inch bags

Just an update. I got these from Ebay....and tried them. Paid about $4 for 100 of them, so 4 cents each. Not bad really... thin, but usable. I filled once, used, and refilled (royal icing). I did get a small amount of "ooze" around the coupler on one of them, but not bad. They clump up really bad when used, so refilling is a mess because they are so thin. I could see where medium to stiff buttercream could rupture the bag, but with softer stuff seems fine.

Cheap, so worth a try...:)

oops... that price is for the small bags, similiar to 8-10" US.

Just curious but why get those instead of just using recloseable baggies?  I use the sandwich and quart size and toss when done.  The quart ones are generic freezer bags as they are sturdier for stiffer icings.

Are the others easier to use? 

AI only use Master disposable bags. They're cheap and good quality. I haven't had nozzles tear through, etc.

hey i have used the masters piping bag many times.. they r ok to use once.refilling is a hassle. they tear easily.. iv had nozzle bursts.. sometimes the nozzles dont fit the bags.. so worth a try.. i buy them from my local store get 100 bags for 150 INR .. it is really cheap.. worth it tho..

AIf these are the ones I'm thinking about (they have master on the top and Chinese writing and a picture of a cake on it, all in red) I LOVE these. I bought 2 packs of ebay (since I can't find them where I live) and loved them yes they do bulge sometimes but for a few cents a bag I don't mind transferring bags. I love how I don't need tips and they are a great size for what I do!
