I just tried my new brown greaseless standard taller cupcake liners and I abolutely love them!! I used the standard cupcake pan with the 2" bottom and used just a little more batter and did not have a problem with spill-over. They look larger than the standard cupcakes but not jumbo size. The liners did not pull away from the cake after being cooled. I will definately be ordering more. I'm going to order some white ones and test those also.

I got them from charming creations baking. She has a website and sells them on ebay. You can buy in bulk or small quantities. Her prices were pretty competitive and was quick shipping.

I'm not real good on pics. Everytime I take a picture it looks like my 4 year old grandson took it. Although he is probably much better, lol!!

So what is the difference between the 2 x 1 3/8 and the 2 x 1 3/4. If I'm using a standard cupcake pan what one should I use?

I'm using the 2x1 3/4 and it is tall enough that you can see a difference. I love them. They are not a jumbo size, but not a standard size either--in between. HTH

Once again Thanks for the heads up... just got my order Sat. Great customer service, also sent me some other mini cupcake samples... Cant wait to try them out.... Might have to get new cupcake containers, I use the clamshells and now the cuppies might be too tall.. Urggh

I love Cake Central!  I always find the answers to my questions here. Thank you all so much. I was trying to figure out how bakery cupcakes seemed bigger than mine!  I just ordered the taller liners and CANNOT WAIT for them to get here for my next batch of cupcakes.  I hope it helps my cupcakes look more gourmet.

Anyone found any pretty patterns or anything besides white/brown?  Charming Creations prices are great.  Would love other colors for weddings, etc.

I've been using these larger liners also (purchased from same source) and I just love them as well.
 

do the taller ones fit in the clam shell containers? does anyone know? without the icing being smooshed?

Also one more question, I have also ordered the brown grease proof liners from them, HOWEVER, they did not come in a hard plastic shell to keep there shape, they came in plastic wrap and then I couldnt use them once they opened and sat for a while, because theyre shape got bigger and then i had the folds/creases in my pans when i tried to bake with them.  They were good for when i first opened them, kept there shape, but after that they stretched out...

What do you guys do to keep this from happening? I threw them out and went back to the foil lines in the hard shell tub that stay in shape...

I love those also.  I am looking for some in that size in colors other than brown and white.  Any ideas?  

I put mine in a cup or plastic glass and my lines retain their shape.

I use those all the time...they make a more impressive sized cupcake than standard wrappers.

I haven't had to buy any for a while because I usually order a couple thousand at once...I just went to her site and it it closed right now....doesn't say why or how long or even if forever.  Here's the email address....you could email them and see if they plan to continue selling their wrappers.  I haven't found the tall one anywhere else.
