Got this recipe from someone who was a friend of a friend of Larita, not sure how close it is, but it tastes good!!

Larita’s Frosting

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crisco
  • 1/2 cup real butter (unsalted)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 2 tsps vanilla
  • 1 tsp almond flavoring
  • 2 lbs powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients like you would for a butter cream recipe!
