This is my mom’s favorite caramel frosting recipe she passed to me a long time ago, and I love it it is so smooth and delicate flavor.
Caramel frosting
Ingredients
- 2 cups dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup high ratio shortening
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 to 4 cups confectioners sugar
- 8 tablespoons heavy cream
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients at medium speed until combined, DO NOT OVER MIX.
