Peppermint crisp - fridge tart

this is lovely as is or served with cream
i made my own version of what is sold in shops as tea treats.
i dont actually have a recipe in a book or from anyone for it, but it is allways a hit.
IF POSSIBLE MAKE IT THE DAY BEFORE, SO THE MINT CAN DRAW IN

Peppermint crisp – fridge tart

Ingredients

  • 1 X 200G TENNIS BISCUITS (FLAT COCONUT SQUARE BISCUITS)
  • 1 X 360 GM TIN OF CARAMEL FILLING
  • 1 X 250 ML FRESH CREAM
  • 3 X PEPPERMINT CRISP BARS – CRUSHED ( OR SOME CHOCOLATE WITH PEPPERMINT PIECES, CRUSHED/GRATED EVEN ADD SOME SEALED MINT CRUNCH THATS BEEN CRUSHED)
  • 1 SQUARE OR OBLONG DISH APROX 20CM

Instructions

  1. BEAT CREAM TILL STIFF, ADD IN THE CARAMEL FILLING AND BEAT TILL ALL MIXED (DONT OVER BEAT THOUGH, YOU CAN ALSO MIX BY HAND).
  2. THEN LAYER THIS WAY
  3. LAYER OF TENNIS BISCUITS, THEN LAYER OF CARAMEL CREAM MIX, THEN SPRINKLE WITH PEPPERMINT CRISP(FINELY CRUSHED)
  4. CONTINUE IN THIS WAS, TILL YOU STOP WITH A LAYER OF THE CARAMEL/CREAM MIX, AND ADD REST OF PEPPERMINT CRISP. REFRIGERATE PREFERABLY OVER NIGHT, CUT AND SERVE WHEN REQUIRED, CAN LAST ABOUT 2-3 DAYS IN FRIDGE
