Creme filling for cupcakes

I have found that any large caliber metal piping tip works well for filling cupcakes.

Creme filling for cupcakes


  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 2 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 pack Dream Whip
  • 3 Tbsp milk (I substituted liquid French vanilla creamer)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract


  1. Cream butter and shortening. In a separate bowl combine Dream Whip with confectioner’s sugar. Slowly incorporate dry ingredients and milk (or creamer). Whip for 1 minute. Pipe into cupcakes.
