Simple by Design’s Royal Icing

Ingredients

  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1 lb. confectioner’s sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar to soft peak stage.
  2. Add confectioners sugar, a little at a time, beating continuously until the consistency of marshmallow and peaks stand alone.
