Mocha Frappuccino Frosting

These cupcakes tasted just like Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino…which I am addicted to..so needless to say I was very happy with the results!

Additional Info: I used a regular chocolate cake recipe for the cupcakes and dissolved two packs of the coffee granules in water and added it to the cake batter. I also sprinkled the tops
with a few granules which after about 10 minutes melted from the moisture of the icing. There is a picture of these cupcakes in my pictures.

Mocha Frappuccino Frosting

Ingredients

  • 2 – single serving Nescafe instant coffee granule packs
  • (I believe this is a new product, I got them at Walmart
  • and it contains 7 single serve packs, perfect size for
  • mixing into frosting and cake)
  • 2 – cups of buttercream, no flavoring added, also no milk or water
  • added so it is extra dry
  • 1/3 – cup of store-bought milk chocolate frosting
  • 4 – tablespoons luke-warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix the two packs of Nescafe with luke-warm water and let sit for a minute or two. While that is sitting mix together the buttercream
  2. and chocolate frosting then add in the coffee (make sure it is completely dissolved). I generously frosted 8 cupcakes with this and still had a little bit left over.

    It’s bad for ya I’m sure!…lol.
