It looks lovely, but I do not recognize some of the ingredients. The black gooey in the tin and she called the sugar something other than sugar..... Is there a written recipe? Where can I find her book?
The dark syrup is black treacle (UK ingredient) I think it's called molasses in the US. Hope that's helps!
I think there may be an error in the quantity of Baking Powder - the video states 12 tsp - I am sure this should read 1/2 tsp - after consulting Mich's recipe online. I hope this helps!
