Creamy Buttercream

I experimented with different amounts of butter and shortening until I came up with this. Very smooth texture and taste and it’s not too sweet.

Creamy Buttercream

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 6 cups of powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 6-8 tbsp of milk

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and shortening together until well mixed.
  2. Add vanilla
  3. Add 3 cups of sugar and about 3 tbsp of milk, mix well and then add in the other 3 cups of sugar and about 2-3 more tbsp of milk (depends on the consistancy you want)
