this is the ninth (yes NINTH) buttercream i have tried in the last month in my search for the perfect buttercream. and i think i may have finally found the one! i used hi ratio shortening along with the butter as directed 5 TBL heavy whipping cream instead of milk and everything else i followed as directed. its extremely creamy. and the flavor is not too sweet as all the other recipes ive tried have been. i mixed this in my KA for probably 15 minutes or so total on a low medium speed. i added the powdered sugar 1/2 a cup at time. this recipe is awesome! cant wait to put it on my cake tomorrow!
